There are three meeting points in the center of the Hellfire peninsula: The Overlook, the Stadium and the Broken Hill Capture, which all seem to be used by the Alliance as well as by the glorious Horde. But the Alliance always leaves the places in a bad condition after using it. They never turn off the light and after each visit they forget to collect their ridiculous flags again. To change that it is enough to pay a visit to one of these places and to show presence. Then the Horde flags are raised again and the places regained law and order. This morning it is extremly awful. It seems as if the Allies used all three places in the last night and so I have to go to restore order again.
From there I continue my way to the Pools of Aggonar. Another stinking swamp which I tried not to visit until now. But unfortunally it is a part of my lordship and someday I would have to pay a visit. It does not help to postpone this all the time. The pools are, well, swampy and stinking but not dangerous. At least not for me. Devlynn of the guild “Halb und harmlos” seem to be only half concentrated and so harmless that he gets into real trouble when pulling two Terrorfiends at once. So I turn back to help him out. But the poor fool seems to be quite desorientated due to all the swamp gases. He says something senseless as “First I leave the mobs to you and then you take none and when I take them you take one from me” I don’t understand a thing of what he is trying to tell me. Probably he wants a sweeping mob to clean up the swamp and was looking for a dummy who would take one of these mobs despite he wants two of his own. I do not understand enough of cleaning swamp mobs but I hope that guy will do some proper work as the stench at this place is really bad.
I am a cleaner myself but not in literal meaning. I search for evil cretaures to eliminate them. And sure enough I find one of these here on a large podest. Arazzius the Cruel is believing to be the true ruler of this area. Unfortunally my first try to eliminate him fails as in fact he is really gruesome. Well, allright this stinky place of swamp may stay under his control for a while.
I prefer enjoying the wide view after I climbing the mountains on my search for interesting places which on the other hand do not exist here. Back down again I kill some straying cretaures to allow Devlynn to clean on undisturbedly. By this I soon gathered enough Felblood to bring it to Ryathen the Dark in the Falcon keep. So all in all this is a clean result and so I call it a day and return to Thrallmar.

First I return to Falcon Bay as I have completed some quests I got here as well. But I don’t stay too long but decide to explore the nearer surrounding of the Haar’eshi Canyon. The last time I went there I met an ally level 70 mage with a comrade already at the entrance which made me postpone my exploration (you never know with these mad mages). Afterwards I forgot about my planned exploration for a while.
Above the entrance in the cliffs I detect a Kaliri nest which is only little defended by the parents. So I easily could gather a female Kaliri for Falconer Drenna Riverwind. With the noisy bird in the backpack it is of course impossible to sneak through the guards at the entrance. So I go towards them with some friendly greetings. But it seems they do just speak some strange kind of language which is quite cloudy but does not contain any phrases such as “you’d better retreat and give way to me.” But still there is the language of pure violence which is spoken and understood everywhere. With that the communication goes very well and soon I got four Scrolls of the Haar’eshi as a welcome gift.
Within a small cavern then I detect an improsoned pilgrim. A poor creature. So, this is how you end up when you don’t even have that what is needed to become a priest. In addition she is desorientated but seems to have some pieces of information which might nevertheless be worthwhile. For this reason and due to my well-known kind-heartedness I guard her way back to the falcon keep. As obviously she would not made just 5 metres without my help I lead her back and postpone my exploration again.

I nevertheless use the flight point to return to the Zangarmarsh. At the Umbrafenn Lake I find the first exemplar of a plant which I urgently need for my alchemy reciepes: the Ragveil.
While I am still collecting this worthy herb there is the next lucky situation. A curious Bogslayer is watching what the friendly warlock is doing there. I take the time to explicitely explain him what I am doing which lets it glow in several diffent colours.
All is so blue – where is the voidwalker?

But this seems to be not the anomaly I need to look for at the lake. Maybe I can find it at the very center where I can see some strange islands. I decide to swim over to there.
On the island I find many Nagas. Those are quite anomal as well and try to lock me within one of their ice traps which they actually manage to do sometimes. But such an ice trap is hardly lowering my magic skills and so can’t really stop me. All in all I collect fourty Naga claws from them, which even without ice traps would have taken a while. And after finishing the Nagas I manage to find the real source of the anomalie as well.
When I tell Ysiel Windsinger of the source of the anomaly she reacts quite unexpectedly and invites me to a flight as a crow through the Zangarmarsh. This is a nice alternation, but here as well I have only limited control on the flight. I stay with my opinion: A flying mount of my own would be better by far.

Because of the large number of quests I did not manage to explore the Hellfire Peninsula completely yet and as well I just saw a mere fraction of the Zangarmarsh. Always and everywhere I find new little jobs and I am caring to do them properly and not to miss any of them. East of the Umbrafenn Lake I find a small crossroad which I follow. Unfortunally this again leads me to a tottaly different region, the Terokkar Forest. So I am just about to turn on my heels when some interesting buildings in the distance arouse my curiosity. And when I get nearer I find a huge new city called Shattrath.
The City of Shattrath seems to be built for nothing but leisure. There are many wide spaces where you can consume but there is hardly anyone producing anything. Even teachers are hard to find here. Within an inn without a keeper I instead find as a sign of senselessness a juwelry trader called Harris Pilton who sells useless stuff for thousands of gold. Though even if I had this gold I would not be interested in such rubbish.
But on the other hand there seems to be some superior technique here and there. So I find a portal to all the cities in the old world and even to some places of which I haven’t even heard about. In addition it seems as if somewhere here flying mounts are sold as many people have their own flying mount. But unfortunally I cannot find them and the mounts at the flight point are not for sale. It just offers norml passages to other places in the Outlands.

On my way back to the Outlands I meet an ally mage and a paladin. I sneak to them from behind and hit the mage with my curses. But the paladin reacts very quickly. Unfortunally he is already of level 70 and he reaches me before I manage to complete my curses on him. I do not survive this prompt counter attack but at least I distracted him from healing his comrade who meanwhile has died. While the paladin russurects the mage I use my soul stone to resurrect myself and summon my horse to get away. So in the end noone did really die – a classic draw.
Back in the Outlands I meet Fylgien in Thrallar, whom I met before in the Silverpine Forest. After that I continue my way to the hellfire keep where I find Jakk, Moh and Manni the kidnapped goblins. As a “reward” for this deed I have to do the dirty work and search for a hidden key in the droppings of the nearby hellhounds. After this I have to visit the nearby mine to kill a ndemon called Urga’zz. But the hope that all the other demons would vanish once their leader has been destroyed failed. On my way back I meet the first under demons who had respawned in the meantime. Well, I you got demons once, it is hard to get rid of them.
But now I am fed up with Razelcraz and his little problems. My plan was to free the hellfire keep. So I hurry to leave him before he comes with more of his “interesting” jobs and head for the bulkwarks. Unfortunally the bastion is in the hands of the Alliance which I free as well.
More in the west close to the Zangarmarsh border I find the Ruins of Sha’naari with an expdition camp of Cenarius. This guy seems to send his people around everywhere. Here I get a few jobs such as the killing of Helboar titans, Thicket ravagers and some Illidari Taskmasters. So I can cool down my aggressions and finish the day. at the end I return to Undercity because I have now reached level 64. But I do only get two lousy abilities. Some days one should better stay in bed.
